Principals/Directors, VCE Coordinators and VCE teachers

Applications to be an assessor for all written external assessments (except Languages) are closing on Sunday 3 May.

Apply through the Sessional Staff Management System (SSMS).

VCE examination assessors perform a vital role in ensuring all students receive fair and consistent assessment of examinations. Assessment is an excellent professional development activity that is officially recognised by the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).

Assessors must:

• have a current VIT registration, OR
• hold a current satisfactory Department of Education National Criminal History Record Check (NCHRC)

Closing dates for Assessor Roles:

Sunday 3 May 2026: All VCE written examinations (except Languages)
