2026 exam scheduling: VCE and VCE VET Music performance examination 

Principals/Directors, VCE Coordinators and teachers of VCE Music Contemporary Performance, VCE Music Repertoire Performance and VCE VET Music Performance

To assist with student scheduling, the VCAA requires additional information about instrumentation and group allocations for the following Music Performance external assessments: 

• VCE Music Contemporary Performance
• VCE Music Repertoire Performance
• VCE VET Music Performance

This information will be used to allocate students to the most appropriate venues and assessment times and to ensure the correct allocation of specialist assessors.

Schools are also asked to provide details of the teachers in charge of these students so that direct contact can be made, should there be any follow-up queries.

Please complete the survey for all music performance studies.
