Note: The below information excludes the VCE Drama solo performance, and VCE Theatre Studies monologue performance. 

Amended specifications, forms, and advice are now available for the following Performance and Languages Oral exam subjects:

Update: VCE Music Repertoire Performance and VCE Music Contemporary Performance

Please see the following performance examination specifications updates:

Music Repertoire Performance

• The maximum number of performers permitted per assessment is now 8 across the duration of each program (no longer 8 per individual work)
• Students must present their Prescribed List piece and the majority (more than 50%) of their overall program on the nominated principal instrument
• Additional clarification is provided to assist in student program selection to meet the requirements of the program.

Music Contemporary Performance

• The maximum number of performers permitted per assessment is now 8 across the duration of each program (no longer 8 per individual work).
• Students must present the reimagined work and the majority (more than 50%) of their overall program on the nominated principal instrument.
• Students must present a re-imagined work and a post-1990 Australian work. The same work cannot be used for these two requirements.
