Section 1

In Victoria as of 2024, there is one certificate of senior secondary education, the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) which ensures every student has access to studies where they will gain the skills and knowledge they need to find rewarding careers and reach their full potential.

Within the VCE students have the option to undertake the VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM).

This section covers the VCE including the VCE VM.

1. Victorian Certificate of Education

VCE completion is calculated on the basis of satisfactory completion of units. Refer to the VCE Administrative Hand book for VCE eligibility requirements, which can be found on the VCAA website.
