2019 Special Examination Arrangements Applications
Principals/Directors and VCE coordinators
Students with an illness or disability may require Special Examination Arrangements to access and complete VCE examinations and/or the General Achievement Test (GAT).
The 2019 Special Examination Arrangements Application form and Essay Cover Sheets are available on VASS. Hard copies will be sent to schools in the week beginning Monday 25 February 2019.
Completed application forms must be submitted to VCAA Special Provision by Friday 15 March 2019.
The outcome of applications will be released to schools from Monday 13 May 2019.
- determine if a student requires Special Examination Arrangements
- ensure all relevant sections of the Special Examination Arrangements Application form are completed
- submit completed applications by Friday 15 March 2019
- ensure Essay topics are kept confidential.

The VCAA Special Provision Policy, including the eligibility requirements for Special Examination Arrangements, is available on the
Application forms must be signed by the school Principal and the student or student’s guardian.
Schools must ensure the required current medical or other specialist reports are submitted with the completed application. The medical statement page of the application may be given to the student to forward to their treating specialist or health professional to complete and then re-attached to the form.
