Update to 'VCAA principles and procedures for prescribed VCE lists'
Principals/Directors, VCE Coordinators and VCE teachers of studies with prescribed lists
The document 'VCAA principles and procedures for prescribed VCE lists' (formerly 'VCAA principles, guidelines and procedures for prescribed VCE text lists') has been updated. The updated version is available on the
VCE General Advice and Policy webpage and on the study design webpages of studies with prescribed lists (English and EAL, Literature, Philosophy, Classical Studies, Texts and Traditions, Latin, Dance, Chinese Language, Culture and Society, Music, Drama, and Theatre Studies).
The updated document better supports the diversity of the prescribed lists across VCE studies, and reflects our current processes for prescribed list selection, including the values that underpin our work.
Teachers of VCE studies with prescribed lists are encouraged to become familiar with this document.
Action required
Principals/Directors should ensure that VCE teachers, particularly of studies with prescribed lists, are made aware of the updated 'VCAA principles and procedures for prescribed VCE lists'.
