VCE VET Scored Assessment: Introduction and program-specific webinars

Principals/Directors, VET Coordinators, VET Teachers/Trainers and Assessors

The VCAA is offering two types of professional learning in Term 1.

A webinar on Thursday 25 February (2.00pm to 3.30pm) will provide an introduction and overview of the VCE VET scored assessment and the new scored assessment guide. This webinar will be repeated on Tuesday 2 March (2.00pm to 3.30pm).

A series of program-specific webinars for each of the 14 VCE VET programs with scored assessment will be held from Tuesday 9 March to Friday 26 March (2.00pm to 3.30pm).

Program-specific webinars will be led by the State Reviewers and focus on assessment plans, program delivery, presentation of a sample task, contextualising the scoring criteria and resources. 

All teachers, trainers and assessors of VCE VET scored programs are invited to attend.

Webinars will be interactive, utilising Q&A and chat functions, and including a Padlet activity.

Both new and experienced teachers will benefit from this professional learning, including teachers who are supplied scored assessment task material from their registered training organisation (RTO).
