2021 General Achievement Test (GAT) Special Examination Arrangements
Principals/directors, VCE coordinators and VASS administrators
Student Examination/Assessment Timetables and Special Examination Arrangements advice slips for the 2021 GAT are now available on VASS.
VASS administrators should read the advice provided in the
VASS guide (pdf - 151.06kb) before producing and distributing individual timetables and advice slips.
If a student requires emergency Special Examination Arrangements due to an illness, an accident or a personal trauma that occurs immediately before or during the GAT; schools should use the 'Application for Emergency Special Examination Arrangements' form, a VASS download from Wednesday 26 May 2021.
Action required
Principals/directors, please:
- produce and distribute Student Examination/Assessment Timetables to students
- produce and distribute Special Examination Arrangements advice slips to students, chief supervisors and school personnel responsible for the conduct and administration of external assessments
- discuss Special Examination Arrangements advice slips with students, chief supervisors, school personnel and any approved supervisors, clarifiers, readers and scribes, and make sure they are clearly understood.
