We are currently reviewing the provisions for students who are required to isolate or quarantine due to COVID-19. We will provide further advice at the appropriate time.
In 2021,
Consideration of Educational Disadvantage (CED) was applied to all students completing one or more VCE or scored VCE VET Unit 3-4 sequence (including Year 11 and Year 10 students). This process was developed to account for disruption to student learning caused by COVID-19 throughout the 2021 academic year.
In 2021,
students who were significantly impacted or unable to complete any of their exams because of COVID-19 were eligible to apply for:
-
Derived Examination Score (DES), where a examination result was determined based on a student’s school-based assessments, GAT result, , other examination scores if applicable and indicative grades provided by the school.
- Special consideration measures to support VCAL and VET students.
