Bushfire Education

Developed by the Victorian government in response to the findings of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission, these Bushfire Education webpages provide teaching and learning resources to support bushfire education in primary schools and secondary schools. These Bushfire Education webpages include teaching and learning activities grouped under the four themes of learning about, preparing for, responding to, and recovering from bushfires. All teaching and learning activities have been aligned to the relevant areas of the Victorian F–10 curriculum. Read more about the Bushfire Education resource.

For further information and support on implementing Bushfire Education into the Victorian curriculum, please contact the VCAA Victorian Curriculum F–10 Unit.
