VCE on a Northern Hemisphere Timetable - Chemistry

The VCE on a Northern Hemisphere Timetable (NHT) operates from July to June. Only authorised providers may offer VCE Chemistry on the Northern Hemisphere Timetable.

Study Design - Accreditation period Units 1 and 2 2016-2022

The accreditation period for Units 1 and 2 has been extended and expires for the NHT on 30 June 2023. 

Study Design - Accreditation period Units 3 and 4 2017-2022

The accreditation period for Units 3 and 4 has been extended and expires for the NHT on 30 June 2023.

Study review

Study Review Plan

The Study Review Plan provides key information on the review of VCE Chemistry which will be conducted in 2020 and 2021.

Consultation

Consultation on the VCE Chemistry Study Design is now closed.

The review panel will consider all responses to the consultation draft before a final draft of the study design is prepared.

The final draft of the study design will be considered by the Board of the VCAA. Any updates on the progress of the review will be published in the VCAA Bulletin.
