Unit 2: How do external factors influence behaviour and mental processes?

This unit focuses on perception and social cognition. Practical activities should not be limited to assessment tasks; they may be used to introduce a psychological concept, to build understanding of a psychological concept or skill and to practise specific scientific skills, for example, experimental investigations related to gustatory and visual perception, and sampling methods and construction of psychological surveys related to determination of attitudes.
