Unit 3: How does experience affect behaviour and mental processes?

This unit focuses on the role of the human central nervous system in enabling humans to interact with the world around them. Practical activities should not be limited to assessment tasks; they may be used to introduce a psychological concept, to build understanding of a psychological concept or skill and to practise specific scientific skills, for example, dissections, modelling, use of self-reports, sampling procedures and interpretation of physiological measures of psychological functioning.​
