Tickets for all VCE Season of Excellence events are now on sale. All Top Class concerts will proceed in 2021 at the relevant venues. Some performances will be live-streamed. Details of how to access the online program will be announced soon. Check the VCE

The VCE Season of Excellence 2021 opens with Top Class Sound on Friday 26 February from 1.30pm, at the
Athenaeum Theatre. Top Class Sound features exemplary performances of original music compositions by VCE students. Tickets for Top Class Sound are available from the Melbourne Digital Concert Hall.
Next up in the Top Class series of concerts will be Drama and Theatre Studies at the Playhouse, Arts Centre Melbourne on Tuesday 9 March and Wednesday 10 March 2021. Enjoy wonderful interpretations of existing monologues and self-devised works by some of 2020 top performing students.
Top Class Dance will be presented at the
Melbourne Recital Centre on Thursday 18 March 2021. Audiences will experience the beauty and strength of extraordinary VCE and VCE VET Dancers.
On Tuesday 30 March skilled musical interpretations by students of VCE Music Performance and Music Investigation and VCE VET Music will be presented at the Melbourne Recital Centre.
Top Class Music features over a wide range of contemporary and classical performances across three concerts, including violin solo performances, electro-pop and funk bands, and piano quintets.

Top Talks showcases exceptional oral presentations from VCE Extended Investigation students. This will be streamed live from the
State Library Victoria on Thursday 4 March at 12pm.
Selected students will share their original and rigorous independent research and findings through 8–10-minute presentations.
Following the presentations, a Q&A panel discussion will be held with the presenters, giving the audience an opportunity to learn more about the students’ research topics and methods, as well as their experiences studying VCE Extended Investigation.

Top Screen Launch
Top Screen kicks off at 6.30pm on Tuesday 23 March 2021 at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, Federation Square.
Top Screen brings together a collection of insightful short films, spanning a variety of genres from drama to documentary, animation and horror, created by VCE Media students.
Top Screen continues with screenings and associated education programs until Thursday 13 May. For bookings visit the
Opening on Friday 26 March, Top Arts 2021 is a finely curated exhibition showcasing thought-provoking works by VCE Art and Studio Arts students. These students use a range of media including photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, ceramics, film and printmaking.
The exhibition is open until Sunday 11 July 2021 at the
Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia. Top Arts is managed by the NGV in collaboration with the VCAA.
Top Designs 2021 celebrates excellence in design education, exhibiting the next generation of Victorian innovators.
Top Designs VCE students have produced works including furniture, fashion pieces, photography, mechanical projects, architectural models and graphic design identities. Attendees will also have the opportunity to view the design folios, following the development of each work from concept to creation.

Melbourne Museum from Saturday 17 April to Sunday 11 July.
