F–10 curriculum

Have your say about Victorian Curriculum F–10 implementation

At this time of year, we invite teachers, curriculum leaders and principals to take part in an important 10-minute survey about their experience of implementing the Victorian Curriculum F–10. What is your experience implementing the Victorian Curriculum F–10 in your school? What insights can you offer? What do you think of the VCAA’s associated resources?

This annual survey is part of our ongoing Monitoring Framework, which we started in 2018 to understand better the barriers and enablers schools experience in implementing the Victorian Curriculum. The survey results will help us identify which aspects of curriculum implementation are working well, and where we can provide additional support to schools. The information collected through the 2021 Monitoring Framework, alongside previous years’ data, will assist with future planning.

The survey is open until Friday 16 September. Don’t miss out on this important opportunity to have your say.

If you have any questions or concerns about to this survey, please email Learning First at info@learningfirst.com.

Note: This survey is administered by Learning First, an independent, internationally renowned evaluation company. All information collected and analysed by Learning First is held under privacy and confidentiality protocols and is de-identified before being released to the VCAA.

Linking individual learning areas and the capabilities

We have added new resources across our F–10 webpages to help teachers and schools identify useful links between individual learning areas and the capabilities. Each new resource can help teachers identify strong links between one specific learning area and the capabilities. It can also support lesson planning by providing ideas for learning activities that link the learning area with one or more capabilities.

Go to General resources for the capabilities to access these new resources for Economics and Business, English, Geography, Mathematics and Science, with more to come soon.
