Upskill to become a qualified digital technologies or design and technologies teacher

Expressions of interest are now open for two new postgraduate qualifications in digital technologies and design and technologies. Fully funded by the Department of Education, the certificates are available to teachers teaching technology subjects out-of-field, with no cost to participants or schools.

This initiative can help schools address current workforce challenges in Years 7–10 STEM education by increasing the number of qualified technologies teachers through the upskilling of out-of-field teachers.

For more information, go to the Department’s Secondary Sciences, Technologies and Mathematics (SSTM) Initiative page.
