VCE VET program reviews
The following programs have been endorsed by the Vocational Education Reference Group (VERG) to go to the Senior Secondary Management Team (SSMT):
- VCE VET Engineering Studies
- VCE VET Events and Tourism
- VCE VET Laboratory Skills
- VCE VET Small Business
The following programs have concluded their reference panels and papers will now be sent to VERG for endorsement:
- VCE VET Agriculture, Horticulture, Conservation and Ecosystem Management
- VCE VET Applied Fashion Design and Technology
- VCE VET Community Services
- VCE VET Equine Studies
- VCE VET Furnishing
- VCE VET Health
- VCE VET Sport and Recreation
- VCE VET Agriculture, Horticulture, Conservation and Ecosystem Management extended transition arrangements
The following superseded courses have had their transition deadlines extended until 22 January 2025:
- AHC20116 Certificate II in Agriculture
- AHC20416 Certificate II in Horticulture
This means that students who commenced AHC20116 Certificate II in Agriculture or AHC20416 Certificate II in Horticulture in 2023, will be able to complete these courses in 2024.
Please watch for news later in the year relating to students commencing Certificate II in Agriculture and Certificate II in Horticulture in 2024. It is anticipated that these students will need to enrol in the new courses.

VCE VET State Reviewer vacancies for 2023
Applications are invited for the vacant 2023 VCE VET State Reviewer position for each of the following programs:
- Hospitality
- Cookery
- Engineering
