Adult Learners Week (1–8 September) is celebrated annually with hundreds of events and activities taking place across Australia. This year’s theme, ‘What are you waiting for?’, provides a strong call to action for adults across Australia to discover the benefits of all types of learning.
Re-engaging with learning through Australia’s adult and community education sector can be the gateway to lifelong learning, helping to create and maintain a positive attitude to learning for both personal and professional development.
In the past five years, more than 6000 Victorians have enrolled in VCE or VCAL as adult students. This includes people of all ages, from all walks of life, and with a wide range of educational backgrounds and experience.
Studying a senior secondary certificate as an adult can help you achieve your personal, professional and educational goals. Returning to study has enabled thousands of people to reap the benefits and enrichment of lifelong learning.
