The Independent Review of the VCAA led by the Dr Yehudi Blacher PSM has released its second and final report. 

The report contains 11 recommendations to transform and restore public confidence in the organisation, which have been accepted in full by the Victorian Government. 
The report acknowledges the critical importance of the VCAA’s work and concluded that the interests of Victoria’s students and their families are best served by retaining the VCAA as a statutory authority. 

The VCAA acknowledges that major reform is required to ensure that we perform our core functions of developing high-quality curriculum and assessment products and services, as effectively and efficiently as possible.
