As advised by ACARA, the issues impacting NAPLAN platform connectivity have been addressed and schools can resume NAPLAN testing as scheduled.

Completing the writing tests should take priority and schools are encouraged to complete writing tests as soon as possible. Schools that experienced issues during the writing test can consider providing some extra time for their students where appropriate.

Paused sessions

Any student whose writing test session was paused as a result of the connectivity issues will need to complete that session or contact the VCAA Helpdesk to request the session be postponed so they can continue with the remaining testing and complete the writing test at a later date.

Finalised sessions

If a student’s test session has been finalised and needs to be reopened, please contact the VCAA Helpdesk for assistance.

Writing tests yet to commence

Students yet to commence the writing test will be allocated a different writing prompt on each day of the writing test window.
