2026 NAPLAN reporting and VCAA Data Service professional development sessions
The VCAA is offering a series of online webinars between the 19 August and 1 September 2026. This program will be offered as a two-and-a-half-hour webinar session.
They are designed specifically to help schools understand their NAPLAN results.
The webinars will be presented on behalf of the VCAA by an educational measurement specialist.
Session content
The primary focus of the 2026 webinars will be on interpretation and analysis of a combination of student-level reports and several
reports on group and school-level outcomes from the VCAA Data Service and also including the reports contained in the SSSR.
Regional Sessions
This webinar is designed for Regional Officers and Senior Education Improvement Leaders (SEILs) who support schools to interpret and use NAPLAN data. Through practical exploration of the VCAA Data Service, participants will develop a common language, consistent approaches to data interpretation, and practical coaching strategies to confidently support schools in identifying strengths, priorities and next steps.

School Sessions
This webinar is designed for principals, school leaders, data teams and teachers with varying levels of experience interpreting NAPLAN data and using the VCAA Data Service. Through practical activities, participants will build confidence in interpreting NAPLAN data, understand the full range of reports available within the VCAA Data Service, and engage with their own school data to identify strengths, priorities and practical next steps for teaching and school improvement.

VCAA collection notice (Webex)
The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) is a statutory authority continued under the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic). The VCAA collects the information requested on this form, which includes personal information within the meaning of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic), for the purpose of facilitating your registration and participation in the 2026 NAPLAN reporting professional development webinars.
Webinars will be hosted by Cisco Webex, a cloud-based web and video conferencing platform. The personal information you provide will be collected by Cisco Webex on behalf of the VCAA. As Cisco is a global organisation, Cisco may transfer your personal information to Cisco in the US, to any Cisco subsidiary worldwide, or to third parties and business partners that are located in various countries around the world.
