MY VET
SUCCESS STORY
Mason
Light Vehicle Automotive Apprentice
Why I chose VET
I chose VET because I wasn't a very academic student and I wanted a way to learn by being hands-on.
What I got out of VET
VET allowed me to develop good industry skills and get a lot of good experience. I was able to explore my abilities and really challenge myself along the way. VET allowed me to choose the career path that I am currently pursuing.
My VET success story
After school with the certificates I had from VET, I was accepted into Motorsports Training Australia. I completed a two year, full-time course in motorsports as a pit crew mechanic. I am currently doing my apprenticeship at Alpine Auto Repairs in Bright.
My advice
My advice to VET students is to listen to the teacher and learn as much as you can. The skills you gain in VET can get you a great job in a field you love.
