New VCE Mathematics school-assessed coursework professional learning videos available

Principals/directors, VCE coordinators, and VCE Further Mathematics, VCE Mathematical Methods and VCE Specialist Mathematics teachers

A set of professional learning videos and support material is available to help teachers develop school-assessed coursework for Unit 4 VCE Further Mathematics, VCE Mathematical Methods and VCE Specialist Mathematics. The videos are available from the respective study design pages under ‘Support material’.

The videos cover how to develop modelling or problem-solving tasks for:

• Further Mathematics – Matrices
• Further Mathematics – Networks and decision mathematics
• Mathematical Methods – Functions, algebra and calculus
• Mathematical Methods – Probability and statistics
• Specialist Mathematics – Calculus and vectors
• Specialist Mathematics – Probability and statistics
