Reporting
Reporting on the DAL is available immediately following the submission of an assessment and is in the context of the Victorian Curriculum. The reports support analysis and interpretation of student assessment results. These include:
- The Student Results Report - provides an overview of the assessment results for a class of students. In addition, this report facilitates comparison of assessments over time for a student group.
- The Item Analysis Report - identifies students with similar abilities and items with similar difficulties, facilitating the grouping of students and identification of learning needs across a classroom or a cohort. Through this report, a more detailed analysis of student performance at an item level can also be undertaken.
- The Class Diagnostic Report - facilitates the interrogation of student responses in the context of the Victorian Curriculum.
- The Grouping Report - enables the creation of custom groups within allocated classes. This supports differentiated teaching and targeted assignment of assessments.
- The Student Hub - provides an individualised view of all assessments a student has completed.
The reports can be exported in a range of formats and provide different perspectives and insights on student learning.
