Last day for VCE Unit 4 or VCE VET scored Unit 3–4 units of competency withdrawal

The last day for VCE Unit 4 or VCE VET scored Unit 3–4 units of competency withdrawals is Monday 19 July.
After this date, VASS will not allow withdrawals, other than on approved compassionate grounds.
Withdrawing from a VCE Unit 4 study may affect a student's eligibility to complete the VCE or VCAL in 2021. Before changing a record, please run a VCE and VCAL student eligibility report to make sure that any student who intends to complete a senior secondary certificate in 2021 will be able to meet the eligibility requirements.
Incorrectly withdrawing students from VCE Unit 4 studies may incur a late fee.
Action required
Principals/directors, please make sure that VCE Unit 4 or VCE VET scored Unit 3–4 units of competency withdrawals are actioned on VASS by the due date.

Please carefully select an appropriate VET Assessing Group. The Assessing Group is used to define in which moderation group students will be placed for statistical moderation. Selecting the correct Assessing Group is, therefore, important if students are not to be disadvantaged.
