2022 General Achievement Test (GAT) timetables and Special Examination Arrangements
Principals/directors, VCE coordinators and VASS administrators
Student timetables and Special Examination Arrangements advice slips for the 2022 GAT are available on VASS.
VASS administrators should read the advice provided in the
VASS guide before producing and distributing individual timetables and advice slips.
Any advice slips and timetables printed before 18 July should be re-printed.
Emergency Special Examination Arrangements
For students requiring emergency Special Examination Arrangements due to an illness, accident or personal trauma that occurs immediately before or during the GAT, schools must submit an 'Application for Emergency Special Examination Arrangements' form, available from VASS downloads from Wednesday 24 August.
Action required
Principals/directors, please make sure should ensure:
- student GAT timetables are produced and distributed to students
- Special Examination Arrangements advice slips are
- produced and distributed to students, chief supervisors and school personnel responsible for the conduct and administration of the GAT
- discussed and clearly understood by students, chief supervisors, school personnel and any approved supervisors, clarifiers, readers, scribes and interpreters
Critical dates
- Monday 18 July − student GAT timetables and Special Examination Arrangements advice slips available on VASS
- Wednesday 7 September − GAT held
