2023 VCE examination periods
Principals/directors, VCE coordinators, VASS administrators and VCE teachers
The VCAA Board has approved the dates for the 2023 General Achievement Test (GAT) and VCE examination periods.
In determining these dates, the VCAA considers the following:
- the timing of religious holidays
- sufficient timing between the GAT and the start of VCE written examination period
- sufficient timing between performance and oral examinations and the start of the VCE written examinations
- the impact on other key processes within the school year including enrolment and result entry deadlines and the release of final results
