2023 initial enrolments now open
Principals/directors, VCE, VCE Vocational Major (VM), Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC), VCAL and VET coordinators and VASS administrators
VASS is now open for the entry of initial enrolment data for VCE, VCE VM, VET, VPC and Intermediate VCAL programs.
Schools are requested to prioritise their enrolments for VCE and VCE VM Units 3–4 sequences and for units of competency from scored VCE VET Unit 3−4 sequences.
As part of the enrolment process, schools must make sure students have completed and signed the relevant
VCAA Student Personal Details form. These forms can be generated from VASS, pre-populated with student details for continuing students, or printed and completed for new students.

Critical dates
2 May – last day to finalise enrolments for:
- VCE Unit 3–4 sequences
- VCE VM Unit 3–4 sequences
- units of competency from scored VCE VET Unit 3−4 sequences
- Year 12 International Baccalaureate students
- Senior VCAL units
Additional
Initial enrolment data is used for planning associated with the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments (including the General Achievement Test), to determine the School-based Assessment Audit and for Department of Education reporting purposes.
