Planning resources

Planning for English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners involves establishing the English language proficiency of each EAL student in a school. There are several pieces of evidence that a teacher may use to determine the appropriate pathway and level for each individual EAL learner. Apart from a range of work samples, the Language and Learning Interview can provide important information that contributes to the bigger picture of a student's experiences in English as well as their English language needs.

The following resources have been developed to assist curriculum planning for English as an Additional Language in the Victorian Curriculum F–10.
