Liam and Frankie Davison Award

Applications are invited from senior secondary students resident in Australia or New Zealand for the 2018 Liam and Frankie Davison Award for outstanding achievement in literary writing on an issue in women's health. This award provides an exciting opportunity for students, whether they are interested in medicine, science, health, sociology, politics or law. Up to two awards are offered and winning entrants will receive $1000. Applications open on Wednesday 31 January and close on Monday 30 April 2018. Professional learning for dance and movement teachers

Ausdance Victoria's professional learning program for 2018 will begin with a workshop focusing on accessible dance and movement and care of feet, along with some effective feet exercises based on the Franklin Method. Short film competition for primary school students – enter now!

Explore the art of filmmaking through the theme 'This is what a Victorian looks like'.

For Cultural Diversity Week this year, the Victorian Multicultural Commission is running its very first Primary School Short Film Competition. Individual and group entries welcome.

Entries close on Wednesday 28 February 2018.

VALA VCAL Induction Day – Friday 23 February
