Eligibility reports for VET students

It is important for schools to run VCE and VCAL eligibility reports following the completion of their VET enrolments. Students at risk of not meeting the requirements of the VCE or VCAL should be identified early while there is still the opportunity to plan for additional VET to be undertaken over the remainder of the year. Please use the Student Full Details Report from VASS to identify the amount of credit students may receive from their VET enrolment.

Enquiries about VCE VET Programs and high-level VET qualifications

Due to the many qualification changes in 2022, it is important that RTOs and teachers refer to the 2022 VCE VET program structures document available on the VCE VET Programs page for the most up-to-date transition advice.

Any qualification at Certificate IV or Diploma level is considered a high-level qualification for senior secondary purposes. Schools or providers planning to deliver high-level VET qualifications must have their application approved before commencing any training.
