Applications open for Teaching Excellence Program at Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership

Applications are now open for the 2024 intake of the Teaching Excellence Program (TEP) at the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership.

TEP a year-long professional learning program for great teachers, supporting and challenging them to become exceptional teachers. Through the program, teachers analyse their teaching practice to deepen content and pedagogical content knowledge and enhance their approaches in and across the key discipline areas. Participants access contemporary, evidence-informed research and apply this learning to enhance student outcomes.

The program is open to teachers from the government, Independent and Catholic sectors with a minimum of three years’ teaching experience, and to those teaching in alternative settings such as Tech Schools.

Graduates tell us they leave the program feeling re-energised, informed, as better teachers and having found their ‘tribe’ of other teachers deeply interested in their craft and the profession.

Graduates join an active TEP Alumni group to continue their engagement and influence in their schools and more widely, and graduates are also eligible to apply for Teaching Innovation Fellowships.

For more information and to apply, go to the Academy.

Applications close on Sunday 29 October 2023.
