The VCE Season of Excellence provides a great opportunity to recognise outstanding student work in a significant public setting.
Applications for the 2024 VCE Season of Excellence exhibitions are closing soon.
- Top Designs applications for VCE Media, Product Design and Technology, Systems Engineering and Visual Communication Design close at 11.59pm on Sunday 22 October 2023.
- Top Arts applications for VCE Art Creative Practice and Art Making and Exhibiting close at 11.59pm on Sunday 22 October 2023.
- Top Designs applications for VCE VET Creative and Digital Media, Engineering Studies, Furnishing, Integrated Technologies and Music (Sound Production) close at 11.59pm on Monday 13 November 2023.
The VCE Season of Excellence is a five-month arts festival showcasing outstanding senior secondary student work from Victorian schools. It comprises 11 concerts (Top Class), two exhibitions (Top Arts and Top Designs), screenings of short films (Top Screen) and a research presentation (Top Talks).
A range of associated education programs are offered in conjunction with exhibition viewing, screenings and the research presentation.

Top Designs
Top Designs, part of the VCE Season of Excellence, presents works from these VCE VET programs:
- Furnishing
- Engineering Studies
- Integrated Technologies
- Music (Sound Production)
- Creative and Digital Media
Applications from students enrolled in the above VCE VET programs are welcome. Students who achieve an A or A+ for a Product Task can be encouraged to apply.
