Music lovers will be able to enjoy an entire concert of new compositions by VCE and VCE VET music students at a new showcase event to be staged at the Darebin Arts Centre on Wednesday 27 March 2024.

For the past two years, Top Class Sound has been incorporated into the Top Class Music concerts. For Season 2024, the VCAA is excited to again celebrate Victoria’s up-and-coming composers in their own showcase event.

Top Class Sound applications for VCE Music Contemporary Performance, VCE Music Repertoire Performance, VCE VET Music (Performance) and VCE VET Music (Sound Production) students who have created original compositions for scored assessment close 11.59pm Monday 27 November 2023.

Students who complete VCE Music Composition and Music Inquiry will automatically be considered by the panel via their Externally assessed Task.
