High and low technology

STEM teaching and learning does not have to be high technology in nature to produce positive student learning outcomes. Think creative and utilise high and/or low technologies that may be recyclable and reusable to create rich learning experiences.

Considerations when implementing STEM in secondary schools

This video explores some of the challenges of implementing STEM learning in a secondary school. Specifically, the challenges of ordering topics within subjects, the sequencing of lessons within a STEM unit, and coping with the restrictions of timetables are explored and solutions implemented in a school running a STEM unit are presented.
